The Rotherham speedway team raced at the Greyhound Stadium at Hellaby, holding their first meeting on 18th May 1929. The Dirt Track linked with the greyhound circuit was called Bramley. | |||
The team operated as an Open team throughout the 1929-30 season, but the final meeting took place on 9th June 1930. | |||

As was customary at speedway venues, Greyhound racing also took place. The first recorded Greyhound meeting was on 7th April 1928. | |||
